Safeguarding

Pastel Health is committed to protecting the right of all individuals to stay safe and promoting the welfare of all our patients and Pastel Health.  

 

Safeguarding means protecting an individuals right to live in safety, free from abuse and neglect. Our approach to safeguarding is holistic, proactive, and deeply embedded in our organisational culture.

 

All Pastel staff have a responsibility to report any identified concerns of abuse or exploitation through the appropriate route in line with the respective policies and procedures.

 

Pastel Health supports it staff to do this by creating culture of zero tolerance of abuse, to ensure staff are aware of our safeguarding policies and that they are trained and supported to follow them. 

 

Our safeguarding policies sets out the individual and organisational safeguarding responsibilities at Pastel Health and provides guidance for staff on how to ensure vulnerable adults are kept safe from abuse or neglect.

We are committed to continually improving and sharing vital information to protect our patients, support our staff in safeguarding and ensure that the principles of safeguarding are placed at the centre of our decision making.

 

To raise a concern about neglect or abuse on adults or children, report a safeguarding concern or seek advice: Call your local Adult Social Care or contact Pastel by email at kushalrkpatel@gmail.com . Out of hours, contact the police.

 

To report a crime: 

  • In an emergency, call the police on: 999 

  • If the person is not in immediate danger, call the police on: 101
